01
Your agreement with RSA
Tu acuerdo con RSA
These terms govern enrollment and educational services provided by Real Spanish Academy LLC (RSA), including group memberships, private lessons and separately offered events. Your enrollment confirmation identifies your program, rate, format, schedule and billing arrangement. A specific written offer controls its stated benefits and price; these general terms apply to matters it does not address.
Review these terms before accepting enrollment and payment authorization. Accepting membership terms does not authorize promotional use of your image. Existing memberships are not retroactively repriced or subjected to a new cancellation charge by this page. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
02
Placement, trial classes and enrollment
Nivel, clase gratis e inscripción
Students with prior Spanish knowledge should use their placement result or personal enrollment link. Complete beginners may enroll in Beginner A.0 through the beginner pathway. Placement guides class assignment; it does not guarantee a particular group, teacher or timetable. Academic staff may recommend reassignment after observing progress.
A free trial is not a paid membership and does not automatically authorize a charge. When a placement is required before the trial, RSA emails the invitation. Enrollment requires accurate student information, acceptance of the applicable terms and the payment authorization shown at checkout. Keep personal access links private. A parent or legal guardian must complete consent and payment arrangements for a minor.
03
Reservations and group opening
Reservas y apertura de grupos
For a reservation explicitly offered without an immediate charge, saving a card does not itself activate a subscription. RSA confirms the group opening and first-charge schedule before charging under the authorization you accepted. The enrollment screen must state any immediate payment required for a different offer.
If the group does not open, the reservation may remain on a waitlist without a membership charge. You may cancel an uncharged reservation by contacting Admissions. Seats are limited; a request or waitlist entry is not a guarantee of an opening date. RSA will confirm the available placement and schedule.
04
What your membership includes
Qué incluye tu membresía
Standard group membership provides one scheduled two-hour group class per week, with up to eight students, subject to the published academic calendar and the confirmed program. In-person or virtual attendance follows the arrangement confirmed for the group. Digital learning materials and Classroom access support the course; a separately required workbook is not included unless your offer says otherwise.
RSA uses continuous assessment and sublevels to guide progress. Advancement depends on demonstrated learning, participation and academic review, rather than payment alone. Scheduled breaks, holidays and special sessions follow the calendar communicated for your group. Bootcamp and workshop inclusion depends on your accepted membership offer; benefits previously promised in that offer are preserved.
Membership is continuous across sublevels unless paused or canceled through the process below. RSA aims to maintain continuity but cannot guarantee the same teacher, classmates or timetable indefinitely. Material changes will be communicated with available alternatives.
05
Prices, recurring payments and authorization
Precios, cobros y autorización
The amount and currency shown in your accepted checkout or enrollment confirmation control your membership. A promotional rate applies only under the eligibility, duration and conditions disclosed with that offer. This page does not replace an agreed legacy rate. RSA will disclose a proposed price change before it applies and allow you to request cancellation under the applicable notice terms.
By separately authorizing recurring payments, you permit the stated processor to save your payment method and collect the disclosed membership amount monthly from the confirmed first-charge date until cancellation or an approved pause takes effect. A billing cycle follows your confirmed renewal date; it is not necessarily a calendar month. Shorter months follow the processor's billing schedule.
RSA uses Stripe and, for existing arrangements, Square. Your confirmation identifies the applicable provider. Maintain a valid payment method and review billing notices. A failed payment may interrupt access or seat availability; it does not count as a cancellation request. Contact Admissions about an incorrect or duplicate charge. These terms do not waive your right to dispute an unauthorized charge.
06
Requesting cancellation
Cómo solicitar una cancelación
An active membership requires at least 30 calendar days of written notice before the requested cancellation effective date. Submit a request through your RSA student portal, the personal request form sent by Admissions, or email info.admin@realspanishacademy.com. Include your name and enrollment email. A telephone conversation alone is not written notice; Admissions can help you submit it.
The notice period begins when RSA receives your written request, not when staff finishes reviewing it. A receipt acknowledges the request; the confirmation states the effective date, remaining access and any final authorized charge. If you do not receive a receipt, contact Admissions and keep your original submission.
Membership remains active during the notice period. Charges due under the billing terms you accepted may still fall within that period. RSA must identify the final amount and date in writing; this page does not create an additional full-month charge or an automatic extension to month-end. No recurring membership charge should be scheduled after the confirmed cancellation effective date.
Not attending, leaving a group chat, deleting a payment method or telling only a teacher does not submit a cancellation. There is no automatic partial refund for voluntary absences or unused portions of an active period, subject to the return-credit benefit below and any rights required by law.
07
Credit for an unused final billing period
Crédito del último período sin asistencia
If a final membership payment is collected because of the required cancellation notice and you attend no classes during the entire period covered by that payment, you may request that the amount be retained as a return credit instead of a cash refund. This benefit applies to that complete unused final period, not to earlier missed classes or a partially attended period.
Admissions verifies attendance and payment, then confirms the approved amount and expiration in writing. The credit is personal, nontransferable, not redeemable for cash, and valid for 12 months from its written approval, except where law requires otherwise. It can be applied once toward your returning membership; any unused balance remains available until the same expiration date.
Return enrollment uses the then-current rate. You pay any difference beyond the available credit. The credit does not reserve your former group, guarantee an opening or restart a subscription automatically. Request its application before your return payment is processed. A payment refunded or reversed cannot also receive a credit.
08
Temporary pauses
Pausas temporales
Request a pause in writing at least 30 calendar days before its effective date using the same channels as cancellation. Choose an intended return date no more than two calendar months after the pause begins. A pause is not confirmed merely because a request was submitted; RSA confirms the dates and billing action in writing.
An approved pause suspends membership billing for the confirmed pause period once the processor action takes effect. It does not refund earlier active periods. If plans change, contact Admissions before the planned return date. A pause does not reserve your former seat or keep your group at the same sublevel.
Tell RSA whether you plan to keep studying through Classroom. Any continuing access must be confirmed and is for independent study; it does not include live instruction, individual feedback or attendance credit unless specifically arranged. Viewing materials does not by itself establish readiness to rejoin an advanced group.
09
Returning after a pause or cancellation
Regreso y ubicación académica
Request your return through the student portal or Admissions. Academic staff reviews your prior sublevel, time away, recent learning and current readiness; a short assessment may be needed. Students may return to a suitable available group or join a waitlist if their former group has advanced or has no seats.
A planned return date is a target, not a guaranteed class assignment. RSA confirms the group, current rate, credit if any, start date and billing arrangement before reactivation. A waitlist does not itself authorize a new charge. Moving an existing Square arrangement to Stripe requires a new payment authorization and coordination to prevent overlapping billing.
10
How Stripe and Square requests are handled
Gestión de solicitudes en Stripe y Square
Stripe students can request a pause, cancellation or return through the RSA student portal. The payment-management portal may allow card updates and invoice access; it is not a substitute for the RSA membership-request process where direct cancellation is unavailable.
For Square arrangements, Admissions can email a personal request form. Submitting it records your request for review. RSA must also complete and verify the corresponding billing action in Square; changing an internal student status alone does not stop Square billing. You receive a confirmation when the action has taken effect. Contact Admissions promptly if billing conflicts with that confirmation.
11
Attendance, missed classes and makeups
Asistencia y recuperaciones
Arrive on time and notify RSA at least 24 hours before a foreseeable absence. An individual absence does not cancel the group class or create a refund. Students may request at most one makeup during an eight-week academic cycle, subject to designated slots and availability. A makeup may use a different group, sublevel or instructor and is not a private lesson.
Makeups expire at the end of the applicable cycle; an unused or missed makeup does not roll over or create another makeup. Receiving missed-class materials supports independent review and does not promise an additional live session. Ask Admissions to confirm whether an offered alternative fulfills your makeup request.
When RSA reschedules a group class, the replacement date is communicated to the group. Students unable to attend the agreed replacement can review available Classroom materials; that group change does not create a separate individual rescheduling entitlement. Contact RSA if a service change prevents delivery of the program you purchased.
12
Bootcamps, workshops and special events
Bootcamps y eventos
Event pages and enrollment confirmations must identify the dates, location or virtual format, price, included sessions and whether participation is included in your membership or purchased separately. A request for a spot is an admissions inquiry until RSA confirms participation. An event purchase does not automatically create a monthly membership unless expressly stated and separately authorized.
Mixed-level bootcamps use collaborative activities adapted by the teaching team; no particular placement level is required unless the event says otherwise. Capacity and teacher assignment depend on the confirmed event. Review the event-specific cancellation and refund conditions before payment. If RSA cancels a paid event without providing an accepted alternative, contact Admissions for a refund of the undelivered event fee.
13
Private lessons and packages
Clases privadas y paquetes
Private lessons are separate from group membership unless specifically included in writing. Scheduling depends on instructor availability and advance agreement. Give at least 24 hours' notice to request rescheduling; an available alternative must be confirmed. A missed lesson or late cancellation may forfeit the scheduled session under the accepted offer.
The package confirmation must state the number and duration of lessons, price, expiration and any recurring billing. Scheduled private lessons are generally nonrefundable under the original private-lesson policy, subject to RSA's failure to deliver the service and applicable law. Ask Admissions to clarify any package condition before purchase.
14
Refunds and billing corrections
Reembolsos y correcciones
Monthly memberships, fixed-date courses, events and private packages are different products. A product-specific refund schedule must be disclosed before payment; do not assume a monthly membership rule applies to a separate course. A legacy written refund promise remains applicable to the purchase made under it.
Request a refund or correction at info.admin@realspanishacademy.com with your name, enrollment email, payment date and reason. RSA reviews the accepted offer, services delivered and any applicable legal rights. An approved cash refund is returned through the original payment method when possible; bank processing time can vary. A credit is not silently substituted for an owed refund without your agreement.
No policy on this page excludes correction of duplicate or unauthorized charges, remedies required by law, or a refund owed for services RSA cannot provide.
15
Respect, safety and learning materials
Respeto, seguridad y materiales
Treat students and staff respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, threats, disruptive conduct and unsafe or unlawful activity are prohibited. RSA may restrict participation or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, with notice when appropriate. Any payment consequences remain subject to the accepted terms and applicable law; there is no blanket waiver of rights.
RSA materials are for your personal learning. Do not redistribute, sell or publicly post protected materials or classmates' personal information. Do not record, photograph or share a class without the necessary permission from RSA and participants. Keep portal links and credentials private. Follow facility instructions and report safety concerns promptly.
16
Service changes, concerns and agreement updates
Cambios, consultas y versiones
Weather, emergencies, teacher availability or circumstances outside RSA's reasonable control may require a format or schedule change. RSA will communicate the change and available alternatives. This does not remove any remedy for a paid service that cannot be delivered.
Send complaints to Admissions at info.admin@realspanishacademy.com. RSA aims to respond within 10 business days; urgent safety or billing concerns should be identified clearly. You may request further review. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive access to a court or consumer agency.
Version 2026-10-20 is presented for new acceptance after publication. RSA will communicate material changes before applying them to existing students and obtain renewed consent when required. Merely visiting this page is not authorization to charge a card. An enrollment confirmation should identify the accepted version. Spanish summaries help explain the sections; ask Admissions for clarification before accepting if needed.
Privacy Policy
Política de privacidad
01
Information we collect
RSA collects information you provide for inquiries, placement, trial classes, enrollment and student services: name, contact details, relevant level and availability, learning records, attendance, membership requests and communications. Billing records can include transaction identifiers, amounts, status, billing address and limited card details supplied by the processor. Payment fields are handled by the payment provider; do not email full card numbers or security codes.
02
How information is used
We use information to respond to you, recommend and deliver classes, administer membership and payments, send service notices, support academic progress, prevent misuse and maintain required records. Optional marketing and optional media permissions are separate from essential enrollment communications. You may ask to stop promotional messages without canceling necessary class or billing notices.
03
Service providers and sharing
Information is shared only as needed with authorized staff and providers supporting the service, such as Base44 hosting and application services, Stripe or Square payments, and Google services used for email, Calendar and Classroom. Providers receive information relevant to their task and may process it under their own terms. We do not sell student personal information. We may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect safety or address fraud.
04
Payments and third-party services
When you submit payment information, the processor handles it under its own privacy notice. See Stripe Privacy Policy. Square and Google notices are available through the service you use. External sites and group communications have their own privacy settings; joining a group may reveal your contact information to other participants. Ask RSA for an alternative communication channel if needed.
05
Cookies, browser storage and security
The website and student services may use cookies, browser storage, access tokens and technical logs for sign-in, preserving a session, preferences, security and reliable operation. Clearing storage can require a fresh personal access link. Do not share that link. Any optional analytics or advertising technology requires a separate disclosure and choices appropriate to its use; this notice is not permission to install undisclosed trackers. We use session storage for enrollment progress and personal portal links; it normally lasts for the browser tab, and server access may expire sooner. Saved placement progress and contact details in Pulse are kept locally for up to seven days per attempt, without extending that period on each save. Existing saved attempts receive a seven-day migration period. After local expiry, use your email to recover an existing completed result; you do not need to repeat a completed test. Local expiry is checked when the saved record is accessed; closing or clearing your browser may remove it sooner. This does not delete records held by RSA.
Optional Google Maps and YouTube embeds are blocked until you load an individual item or allow automatic loading in Privacy settings. Loading them sends technical information to Google, which may use storage under its own policies. YouTube uses its privacy-enhanced embed domain. You can withdraw automatic permission in Privacy settings; this unloads embedded content but cannot undo information already sent or clear cookies held on another provider's domain.
Your versioned external-content preference is stored locally for up to 180 days. Essential hosting, security and payment resources include Base44, Cloudflare Turnstile, Stripe and the unpkg content-delivery network for application libraries. These providers may receive technical information needed for their services. We have not added Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar or Clarity integrations to the reviewed application code. Administrative CMS drafts and history are stored on the administrator's device until cleared. For privacy requests or help using a shared device, contact info.admin@realspanishacademy.com.
06
Retention and protection
RSA limits access according to staff responsibilities and uses reasonable safeguards. No online system is guaranteed to be completely secure. Records are retained as needed for education, membership administration, accounting, disputes and legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified when no longer needed. A deletion request may not remove records that must be retained, but unrelated uses should cease where applicable.
07
Your requests and children
Contact info.admin@realspanishacademy.com to request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your information, or withdrawal of optional permission. RSA may verify identity before releasing or changing records and will explain applicable retention limits. A parent or guardian must arrange services and permissions for a minor. If child information was submitted without appropriate authorization, contact RSA so it can be reviewed.

Optional Images & Video Permission
Permiso opcional de imágenes y videos
01
Optional permission
Enrollment, payment authorization and acceptance of the student agreement do not grant media permission. You may decline promotional photography or filming without losing educational services. RSA must request and record your separate choice before using identifiable photos, video, voice or testimonials for promotion.
02
Scope of your choice
A separate authorization should identify whether you permit internal educational use, public website and organic social media, and paid advertising. Permission for one purpose does not automatically cover another. RSA should identify the participant, permitted uses, authorization date and, for minors, the parent or legal guardian. No checkbox on this page grants permission.
03
Respectful use and limits
Authorized media may be edited for format while preserving a respectful and accurate representation. Permission does not allow disclosure of private learning records, misleading endorsements, sale of your likeness, voice cloning or creation of a synthetic likeness. Compensation is not promised unless agreed separately. Classroom recording needs permission distinct from public promotional use.
04
Withdrawal
Withdraw future optional use by emailing info.admin@realspanishacademy.com and identifying the relevant material. RSA will stop new uses and make reasonable efforts to remove material it controls. Withdrawal cannot guarantee removal of third-party reposts, already distributed print materials or historical copies outside RSA's control. Permission does not waive claims for misuse.
